The BMP-2M is a recent refurbished and upgraded version with a new Berezhok turret and add-on armor protection. There were other upgraded BMP-2s that were also called the BMP-2Ms, however non of the previous upgraded version was fielded in large numbers. The BMP-2M with the Berezhok turret retains its 30 mm autocannon, but additionally has deadlier 4 anti-tank missile launchers and thermal imaging sights, as well as modern fire control system. Also upgraded vehicle is fitted with new engine. First customer of this upgraded armor vehicle was Algeria. In 2006 Algeria ordered upgade kits from Russia for their BMP-2 IFVs to upgrade them to the new BMP-2M standard. It was planned that 360 Algerian BMP-2s will be upgraded to the BMP-2M standard. It seems that by 2016 upgraded BMP-2Ms were widely used by Algerian armored forces. Russian Army was not that fast in upgrading its BMP-2 fleet. A batch of 20+ modernized BMP-2Ms was delivered to the Russian Army in 2019.

Reliable seller, item was well packaged and corresponds to the description. The building instructions are easy to understand. It took about two hours to build the tank. All required building blocks were in place. A great thing is that you can choose between three versions. Unfortunately, there are still stickers, no printed stones. But for the price is fine. I like the tank very much-I am very satisfied! (◠‿◠)

Very good set. Have enough spare parts. Everything briliant. I had a little problem solving how tracks worked, but after a while I figured it out. Absolutely recommend it to anyone who likes military vehicles.
