The T-62 Russian-made Main Battle Tank (MBT) is a further development of the main battle tank T-55. The T-62 was produced between 1961 and 1975. It became the standard main battle tank in the Russian armed forces and the Warsaw pact during the cold war, partly replacing the T-55, although that tank continued to be manufactured in the Russia and in other countries in the world.
